In this text, apparently addressed to the Spanish Jesuits, an anonymous French Jesuit describes the social opposition to the Society of Jesus in France, the attitude of the French King towards the order, and the educational and religious tasks undertaken by the Jesuits after the French Parliament issued the edict of reestablishment.
